The course aims to enhance learners’ ability to utilise Excel effectively for data management, analysis and presentation and introduces using AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot to get into deeper data analysis.
Microsoft Excel 365 Advanced - Key Features & Business Intelligence This MS Excel Advanced course explores some specialized capabilities of Excel using the data analysis and business intelligence features. Participants will use key functions and features including PivotTables and Power Pivots for analysis of large data sets as well as creating user defined functions, automating data imports, building table relationship and using Power Pivot advanced Data Analysis and expanding Excel's capability using Python.

Data Analysis - Excel 365 – New Dynamic Functions, Top Pivot Table tips, Macros and more This packed course tackles new Excel Functions like FILTER UNIQUE, SEQUENCE, SORT and SORTBY showing their effectiveness over traditional Functions. We explore writing Custom Functions (LAMBDA, BYCOL) and use important Pivot Table techniques (in-table calculations, multi-sheet generation and the new PIVOTBY and GROUPBY). All manifestations of Formatting and key specific areas of Charting and effective Macro creation and editing are explored.
Data Analysis - Excel 365 – Power Query, Power Pivot, Dashboard Production and beyond Excel 365 has heralded an explosion in the tools available for reporting and analysis in accounting. This course will introduce two of the most powerful Excel tools - Power Query and Power Pivot and then use those techniques (with standard Excel skills) to produce an Excel Dashboard. We will examine Excel tools for ‘What if’ and newer techniques in the very important data analysis areas of LOOKUP (especially XLOOKUP) and FILTERING. The course will complete using the Excel Dashboard we created to communicate the results via exchanges between Excel and PowerPoint.
